Gurtam starts accepting applications for participation in the second IoT-projects competition called IoT project of the year 2021. You can submit your project until July 5.
The aim of the competition is to find and award the most fascinating IoT projects. Gurtam experts comprehensively assess the cost-effectiveness of participating solutions, their ability to scale and solve complex problems, and other parameters.
Any company that implements telematics solutions can participate in the IoT project of the year 2021 contest, regardless of its residence state, what software and hardware it uses, and how many people work for it. Participation is free of charge.
As in the previous year, Gurtam will pick the winners in 17 nominations: long-haul shipping, cold chain transportation, local deliveries, public transport, waste management, agriculture, fuel transportation and storage, construction and demolition, ready-mix concrete, home and office services, security personnel, public safety, personal monitoring, stationary facilities,  anti-COVID-19, special recognition, and the community choice award. .
“Last year, we received over 100 applications. We were pleasantly surprised by how technically complex, creative, unusual, and, most importantly, effective from a business perspective, these solutions turned out to be. We were happy to share these projects with the whole world. Participation in the competition is a chance for any company, regardless of its size and residence country, to quickly become a significant player on the market, attract new customers, get the support of the telematics community, and influence the development of the industry as a whole,” – said Aliaksandr Kuushynau, Head of Wialon, Gurtam.
The results of the competition will be announced on September 30. You can submit a project on the competition website.
