MediaVideo

Rayhunter is an open source tool published by the Electronic Freedom Foundation which uses an Orbic RC400L mobile hotspot to detect potentially malicious cellular network data that may indicate a Stingray attack. In this presentation, we review the use of open sourced software cellular base stations such Open Air Interface 5G (OAI), srsRAN_4G, OpenBTS, and Yates GSM to create cellular test beds to robustly test the Rayhunter device and develop new detection capabilities.DEFCONConferenceRead More
