Update on education sector clients impacted by Blackbaud ransomware incident

DeFelice (@amvinfe on Twitter) continues to track disclosures involving Blackbaud’s ransomware incident of 2020.  He has organized his tabulations by whether the entities are hospitals or educational facitlities, etc. Today he has provided another update to the education sector, in which he includes U.S., non-U.S., and primary, secondary, and post-secondary institutions of learning: Total number of people involved 7,908,580 (+216,784) In the update of 31.03.2021, 17 new Institutions affected by the Blackbaud Data Breach are added. Furthermore, 6 educational institutions already reported by SuspectFile are updated with definitive data.
