China’s leader Xi Jinping made a publicity splash this week during the visit to Beijing of US President Donald Trump when he referred to a book titled The Thucydides Trap about the ancient Greek historian’s treatise on war. The book’s author, Harvard professor Graham Allison, laid out the fears harbored by Sparta, the  “incumbent power”
