Could a Windows notification really look like it came from Microsoft Edge?

This proof of concept uses Windows toast notifications, Application User Model IDs, and registry modifications to make a notification appear as though it was sent by Microsoft Edge. It is a good reminder that legitimate Windows features can be abused to carry out convincing phishing and social engineering.
