News

As reported by Deadline and Variety, a price increase for Apple TV was announced today. In the U.S., the streaming service will now cost $14.99 per month or $119 per year for new and existing subscribers, up from $12.99 per month or $99 per year.

The report said existing Apple TV subscribers will be notified approximately one month prior to being charged the new price, so look out for an email from Apple over the coming days and weeks.

As a result of Apple TV going up in price, the Apple One Individual plan also went up. In the U.S., it now costs $21.95 per month, up from $19.95 per month. Notably, the Apple One Family and Apple One Premier plans avoided price increases.Related Roundup: Apple TVTag: Apple TV ServiceBuyer’s Guide: Apple TV (Don’t Buy)Related Forum: Apple TV and Home TheaterThis article, “Apple TV Streaming Service Receives Price Increase” first appeared on MacRumors.comDiscuss this article in our forumsMacRumors: Mac News and Rumors – Front PageRead More
