Apple Announces iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max

Apple today unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which look very similar to the iPhone 17 Pro models but have several upgrades.

The devices are equipped with the A20 Pro chip and feature longer battery life compared to the previous-generation models.

Apple says the A20 Pro chip has up to a 20% faster 6-core GPU and up to a 40% faster 7-core GPU compared to the A19 Pro chip, plus a dual Neural Engine for faster AI performance.

The vapor chamber cooling system has been revamped in the iPhone 18 Pro models, so the devices have even better thermal management to prevent overheating.
